ADAPT YOUR TRAINING. KEEP YOUR DIRECTION.
Terms of service.
The short version
TACK helps you plan and track training. It is not a medical service. Use your judgment, exercise within your abilities, and treat readiness scores and AI coaching as guidance, not guarantees. Beta features may change or fail. Wearable connections and reminders are optional.
These terms describe the conditions for using TACK (also called Tack). Please review them before using the service. If you do not agree, do not use TACK. Questions can be sent to info@trainwithtack.com.
1. Who may use TACK
You may use TACK for your personal fitness planning and tracking, subject to these terms and applicable law. TACK is not intended for children under 13. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms on your own, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to them on your behalf.
2. Fitness guidance, not medical care
TACK provides general fitness information, workout suggestions, readiness estimates, and activity tracking. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent a medical condition, provide emergency monitoring, or replace a qualified healthcare professional.
Exercise carries risks. Choose exercises and loads appropriate for your experience, equipment, and circumstances. Do not exercise through pain or rely on a readiness score to override symptoms or professional advice. If you have an injury, health condition, or concerns about starting or changing an exercise program, consult a qualified professional. For a medical emergency, contact local emergency services.
Plans, scores, videos, and coaching may contain errors or be unsuitable for you. No particular fitness, health, or performance result is promised.
3. AI coaching and connected services
Some coaching is generated by AI; other guidance uses built-in rules. Replies can be incomplete or incorrect. Review recommendations before acting and do not treat them as professional medical advice.
Optional services such as Apple Health, Oura, WHOOP, YouTube, and iPhone Calendar have their own terms, permissions, availability, and technical limits. TACK is not endorsed by those providers. Connecting an account requires your authorization, and some providers may require a paid membership. Data can be missing, delayed, or inaccurate, and connections can stop working.
Reminders are not a guaranteed notification or safety service. Device settings, Focus modes, permissions, and operating-system behavior can affect their delivery. Calendar exports are copies, not a continuously synchronized plan.
4. Your information and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how TACK handles information, including health summaries, AI requests, connection tokens, and backups. These terms do not replace permissions required for access to your health data or other protected information.
You retain rights to information and content you enter. You allow TACK and its service providers to process that content as needed to provide the features you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. Only submit information you are entitled to provide. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive details in coaching messages or feedback.
Keep your device secure and back up important records. Deleting the app does not necessarily revoke wearable authorizations or remove calendar events, exported backups, or server connection records. Disconnect providers before deleting TACK, or contact us for assistance.
5. Responsible use and app content
Do not use TACK unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security or service limits, or use it to harm others. TACK's software, branding, and original content remain the property of their respective owners. You may use the app as permitted by these terms; this does not transfer ownership of that material. Third-party content remains subject to its owners' rights. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law or an open-source license gives you.
6. Beta testing, availability, and updates
TACK is being tested and improved. Beta software may contain bugs, lose data, or have unavailable features. TestFlight builds can expire and may need updating. Do not depend on the beta as your only record of important information.
Features may be changed, limited, suspended, or discontinued. We may restrict access to address abuse, security risks, or legal obligations. We will provide notice where required by law. Any future paid offering will disclose its price and purchase terms before you choose to buy it; installing this beta does not itself enroll you in a paid TACK subscription.
7. Service limitations and your rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, TACK is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. This does not exclude any guarantee or responsibility that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer rights or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. These terms do not require arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim.
8. Ending use and changes to these terms
You may stop using TACK at any time. Before removing it, consider exporting your records and disconnecting any linked accounts. For privacy and deletion requests, follow the Privacy Policy or contact us.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The date above identifies this version. We will provide notice of material changes and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights you already have.
Apple's applicable TestFlight and software-distribution terms also govern use of its services. These terms do not replace those agreements.
