COACH’S CALL ↗
The essentials, without the extras.
Make these twenty minutes count.
A LITTLE DIRECTION. A LOT OF FORWARD.Illustrative app preview
01 / A PLAN THAT LISTENS
You don’t need a perfect routine to get started.
You need a next step that makes sense.
About sixty seconds: sleep, energy, stress, soreness, and the time you have. Connect a supported health source if you want more context.
Set your weekly rhythm, goals, and available equipment. TACK uses your check-in and readiness to adjust today’s training.
Optional reminders help you start. Workout logging and recaps help you see what you’ve done. Your coach helps you find the next step.
02 / DIFFERENT DAY. SAME DIRECTION.
The point isn’t to force the plan.
It’s to find a way to keep training.
You planned for 50 minutes.
Keep the key movements. Trim the extras. Make room for a session you can actually finish.
Example adaptation, not a personalized recommendation.
MORE CONTEXT. NOT MORE HOMEWORK.
Start with a daily check-in. Optionally add one readiness source to bring sleep and recovery context into the plan.
Connections are optional and subject to provider permissions and availability. Supported Garmin data can come through Apple Health; direct Garmin connection is not available.
03 / THERE’S A REASON FOR THE NAME
Sailors don’t wait for the wind to cooperate. They change tack, take the angle the conditions give them, and keep moving toward the same destination.
Training works better that way, too. Some days you’re rested. Some days you’re busy. Some days, twenty minutes is the win.
Your goal doesn’t have to change.
Your way of getting there can.
And a tack holds things in place. That’s the other half: keeping the habit pinned down when life pulls you off course.
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT BE WONDERING
TACK is currently available as an iPhone beta through Apple TestFlight. Tap “Join the beta,” install TestFlight if prompted, then accept the invitation and install TACK. A compatible build and an open tester spot are required.
No. Your daily check-in is enough to start. If you connect Apple Health, Oura, or WHOOP, TACK uses your selected source alongside how you say you feel. It doesn’t average scores from different devices.
Yes. Tell TACK what equipment you have, including bodyweight-only options. You can also set your training goals and how many days a week you want to train.
It helps you plan your next step, reflects on logged workouts, and offers optional check-in and training reminders. Notifications depend on your permissions and iPhone settings. AI guidance can be wrong and is not medical advice.
Your workout records and synced summaries are stored on your device. Optional wearable connections and cloud coaching also process information through service providers. Read our Privacy Policy for details and controls.
In TestFlight, open TACK and tap “Send Beta Feedback.” For help, email info@trainwithtack.com. Include what happened and your iPhone model; avoid sending private health details.
YOUR NEXT STEP DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A BIG ONE.
For real life. For your next workout. For you.
